[00:00.00] |
..so successful, because essentially they're such a good band. |
[00:05.02] |
And that's the reason. |
[00:06.02] |
I don't think it's to do promotion, |
[00:07.53] |
I don't think it's to do with them being goodlooking, |
[00:09.64] |
Or people wanting to be with them like you get with many male bands. |
[00:16.18] |
It's about them being good and being talented and just being completely sincere. |
[00:22.34] |
And honest in the fact that they're doing this because they're passionate about it. |
[00:34.79] |
End of the last year we went to uh |
[00:36.75] |
L.A.and Scotland and London these places about three days, |
[00:40.58] |
And we would fly first class everywhere. |
[00:43.01] |
And we were like playing a sold out gay care(??) |
[00:45.02] |
And then we were speaking to Surren Sisters(??) alone here you know |
[00:48.46] |
And I thought, and then sometimes I just get swallowed with pride |
[00:51.45] |
Cus I think it only in 3 years ago, |
[00:53.53] |
Me and him, we sat in a bedroom go right(??) |
[00:57.05] |
This is good isn't it? |
[00:58.69] |
I bet the blowney(???) still likes this. |
[01:01.34] |
And now we kindda talking to prime Tom usual,(????) did you know what I mean |
[01:04.65] |
So it's wicked. |
[01:07.68] |
Coldplay is such a good band because they've got this raw energy to them you know |
[01:12.00] |
And that's quite rare you know, when you listen to them, |
[01:15.62] |
You're really absorbing everything about them. |
[01:23.03] |
That you want to..to get the record deal.. when you start the band. |
[01:26.54] |
Yeah,we sure enough do, yeah, I think all bands do |
[01:36.51] |
They've come from very grass roots, the kind of uh territory, |
[01:41.25] |
They are formed when they're in college and they |
[01:45.41] |
They all got together love and pursuit of just making really good music |
[01:50.21] |
And they sort of started their goals I think, |
[01:52.74] |
And they just kept their own instinct of sounds |
[01:56.98] |
And..they just sort of doing what they wanna do |
[02:01.35] |
And what they do is really really good. |
[02:04.40] |
It England has been known to bestow the royal treatment |
[02:06.98] |
On it's home-grown celebrities at a young age. |
[02:10.09] |
The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Stone Roses, Blur, Oasis and Suede |
[02:14.72] |
Were barely shaving when they scale the charts |
[02:17.04] |
And had their images splashed on the front page. |
[02:20.58] |
It's just kind of a bit much, you know? |
[02:23.54] |
I mean it's fair enough to be interested in people |
[02:25.04] |
But if you incident in them to the appointment, |
[02:28.06] |
Like, they can't go anywhere |
[02:30.77] |
But, like, I'll have to have my..it's we..I open my curtains |
[02:36.29] |
With that six lenses pointed to your window the whole time. |
[02:39.82] |
Following in those footsteps, Coldplay's debut album entered the UK chart at NO.1 |
[02:44.99] |
Which is pretty impressive, |
[02:46.85] |
Given the fact that not only is the poor tact |
[02:49.13] |
Noticeably devoid of fashion statement in rock n' roll eagers,(??) |
[02:53.36] |
But they had only released a few singles previously. |
[02:56.61] |
Fame and fortune are now theirs, but it wasn't always this way. |
